The Stone House at Clove Lakes

When I arrived to your restaurant to cheer my daughter up after a bad day. I walked in and the hostess looked at us and turned away not saying anything we waited until she finally gave us attention then she asked what did we want. I was shocked at her lack of hospitality. I certainly was not there to do laundry, so I then asked if reservations were needed. I looked and saw that the restaurant had only two ladies sitting alone. She then said oh, oh no and then led us to a table facing a wall. I told her that I disliked our table and requested another. She then walked away as if we were unimportant. I have never been treated like this in any other establishment. I hope this hostess will get some training on hospitality for any other potential customer.

Gift cards cannot be used on Saturdays or on particular meals, absolutely absurd. Food is great but service ruins it. Waiter Carlos intentionally avoided our table and gave awful attitude. Was there for roughly an hour and a half and he came to our table briefly only TWICE. Asked for drink, did not receive yet the table directly next to ours asked for the same drink and received within seconds. Was helped more by the man cleaning tables then our own waiter. What a shame. Beautiful restaurant and scenery, as well as great food but the customer service makes this place look awful.

Terrible, the gift card is SCAM. My friend sent me 2 $50 gift cards for this restaurant, and I took my family to eat there. We had the Sunday Brunch. When the bill came, they told us we cannot use them for brunch, not on Saturdays, not for this and that...on and on. It's a SCAM. People paid real money for the gift cards. We have never experienced any other restaurants that do this horrible thing to their customers. We will not eat there again (way over-priced menus for low quality food and bad customer service).

I just liked their food. I always get good service there. The place is well kept and the employees are always nice. Will visit here again.

Went for Christmas eve dinner. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Ambiance warm and inviting!

The Summer winestock event was superb however they should check all raffle prizes and make sure it's complete. I won supposedly a 5 piece luggage set, instead I got only 3 pieces! It was for charity but shouldn't deceive people that way.

A favorite of mine here on Staten Island. Chef Botros has designed a menu featuring something for anyone. At brunch I had the potato omelet which was prepared and served in the way it is done in Spain. The corn and cheese miniature muffins were delicious as were the desserts.

Fantastic place to have something when in a hurry. Their customer service is fast, rates are reasonable, great ambience. I highly recommend this spot.

Our waiter was great, very attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. And the view from the gazebo was lovely. This place would be five stars except for the craziness of the parking lot (not good, even with valet) and the lack of rest rooms. There were four large parties when we were there - hundreds of people there at the same time. But all the women were directed to use only one bathroom with two stalls. The line stretched into the bar area, across another party's buffet.

went here for a baby shower - the venue is so cute! set on a small island in the middle of the park surrounded by water. the food is delicious, and the event was run very smoothly. highly recommend.

Certainly a spot worth stopping over, the food is awesome and well prepared, the costs are convenient and it is regularly neat in here. Kudos.

Just had dinner at Stone house not impressed by no means. The staff was attentive but then I could say they were rushing us at the same time. I had the lamb shank which was tender but the sauce/gravy with root vegetables had really no taste. My husband had short ribs and didn’t care for it at all . We did have appetizers and they were ok. Moral of the story is we won’t be back. Sorry to say.

Food was pretty good, but pricey. Serve staff was kind and attentive.

I attended a holiday party last month at this beautiful place. And, I can tell you that this is a five star place for sure. The mood was happy everywhere, and the place is well maintained. Staff were fast serving, polite and helpful. The food was ethnic that was especially prepared for this Middle Eastern party and was really authentic and good. The place is located with a lake which I am not sure if it is natural or artificial but did not matter as the scenery was gorgeous. The bathroom was clean. The only thing I had an issue with was that the men's room is very small and did not capacity to probably handle the large number of visitors that attended the party. Still I enjoyed every moment I spent there and got home with lots of beautiful memories and photos.

perfect place to eat if you love Italian food and are celebrating a special occasion or in the park area for other reasons.

Must try! If you go, sit in the comfy chairs! Amazing ambiance. Good food. Great wait staff. Totally worth the trip and the price!

Nice place on an island in Clove Lake. Fireplace or good views over the lake from some window tables. Easy access. Parking available. Good selection of food. Tasty choices. Good service. Lunch menu prices reasonable. Dinner a little on the pricey side.

Not a fan of the food but have good memories here. I later discovered the bar menu that has pizza that was good. Nice outdoors areas in back and front.

Had dinner here several times including brunch....very nice place. Staff very attentive and the food was amazing.

Service was much slower than I expected. Food was good, but such a smaller, unappealing menu compared to Violet celler. The dining area over looking the water was a basic, bland room, but the main bar room had some warmth.

This restaurant is a hidden gem on Staten Island. It is tucked away on the grounds of clove lakes park which provides wonderful scenery during your meal. The service here goes above and beyond to make sure all of your dietary needs are met. The food was exceptional and will definitely come back here again

Celebrate our little cousins First Birthday! Brunch is delicious.

Tried this spot once with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I liked the good mood and fresh food and beverages. Highly recommended.

Amazing dining experience and our server Brett was as good as they come. My wife and I had a lovely dinner date and will definitely be returning. The mussels Appetizer was to die for and various amount of specials will be sufficient for anyone's taste buds!

Great Food, Great Service.

Just had dinner here tonight! Food was good ,service was good! We had purchased some gift cards we were 3 couples they gave us a hard time saying they only except 2 gift cards? How is this policy? First off our bill was more then the gift cards so we still had to add money to it!! The waiter ran out of the place saying you can’t pay with all these gift cards.. we said why? You can only use 2.. I asked why only 2 get me the manger.. he never came back! As I stated before the bill was higher then all the gift cards so money was added.. why have gift cards if they are going to limit you to only use 2 per table when you are a party of 6 or 8 people!! Not sure if I will come back and eat here again🤬

Went for Father s Day buffet, patio area overlooking the Lake, a very lovely late afternoon view. Service was superb, attentive. Somewhat pricey for a buffet, but the food choices were good, fresh shrimp, steamed veggies, pasta, desserts, including chocolate for dipping; all except for the roast beef, a little sinewy. Coffee was excellent.

I just drink coffee here. Not bad good taste. But if you want to see lake view you need to pay for dinner :) for coffee they don’t put to see lake view.

It a beautifull gem hidden in the park! Absolutely amazing experience! Outside terrace overlooking the lake, building like fairytale castle with courtyard and fountain! Live music inside added to the experience. Food was great, service too. Will definitely come back

We had lunch from specials menu. Most items were tasty. Some of it was just OK. But the ambiance, scenery and service made up for it. Great ambiance. I will go back to try some more selections from the main menu.

Board Of Directors had dinner last night. Food was great, service was outstanding, atmosphere was awesome. He had a great time, definitely will go back again

Valentines dinner with my girlfriend here was overall meh, area and scenery was beautiful but the food overall lacked flavor, seemed a little outdated in the cooking. Service was good though, but for the prices its NOT WORTH IT.

Had dinner at the chef's loft yesterday - very intimate, cozy, romantic setting. The food was good, wine and service were excellent. Matt, the sommelier/ maitre d was so personable and knowledgeable. Great spot for a date night. Will be back again.

2nd time we dined here, excellent food but it could have been much hotter, sweet potatoes/seared fish cold both times

We met with friends at this place for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Highly recommended.
